Hastelloy X is a nickel-chromium-iron-molybdenum superalloy specifically engineered for high-temperature structural integrity and exceptional oxidation resistance. Unlike the "C" series Hastelloys, which focus on chemical acid resistance, Hastelloy X is the industry standard for gas turbine engines and aerospace components that must operate at temperatures up to 1200°C (2200°F).
