Inconel 600 is a versatile nickel-chromium alloy designed for use in environments ranging from cryogenic temperatures to extreme heat up to 1095°C (2000°F). Because of its high nickel content, it is exceptionally resistant to chloride-ion stress-corrosion cracking and provides excellent resistance to dry gases like chloride and hydrogen chloride.
