410 stainless steel pipe is the basic martensitic stainless steel grade. Unlike the 300-series (austenitic) steels you've looked at, 410 contains 11.5% chromium and is heat-treatable. It is selected for applications where a combination of high strength, moderate corrosion resistance, and excellent wear resistance is required at a lower cost.
